Streaming Overview 2009 - A chronological step by step walk through of DE streaming that includes: searching by curriculum standards, using the drill down links, the teacher center and professional development.  

Digital Treasure Hunt - A PDF document that you can provide to colleagues that provides them with a digital treasure map to follow as they explore DE streaming.  It takes them through account creation, basic searching, downloading, creating a class of students, and the Builders.

In order to maintain your STAR status, you must report at least two
of your events for the 2008-2009 school year by August 31, 2009. 

What is an Event?

An event is any time you share the power of Discovery with 3 or more
colleagues.  Share an integration idea over lunch with your grade-level
team.  Demonstrate to your peers how you use a Virtual Lab in DE
Science.  The list is endless.

Every week, we will be featuring a different DEN Leadership Council.  The LC's play a critical role in supporting the state-level DEN communities through consistent and varied communications as well as organization and support of local activities and events.  Each DEN LC is comprised of current STAR Discovery Educators within a given state.  We belive every LC is a vital part of the DEN community and would like to use this as an opportunity to recognize them and thank them for their efforts.
