Robin Surland

Robin Surland, M.Ed. is one of the Wichita School District Instructional Technology Department's ITS (instructional technology specialists). Robin has held this position since the middle of July 2001 after teaching at Enterprise Elementary for 9 years. She has taught Kindergarten, first, third, and science extension (3-5). Robin represented the Kansas Discovery Educator Network at the National Discovery Educator Network Institute in July.

Robin spends her time teaching the STEPs classes and web design, working with STSs, helping implement grants, and serving on various district committees involving technology. She is also an Intel Teach to the Future Master Teacher.

Her specialties are web design including database connectivity, digital imaging, graphics, research, constructivism, brain-based learning, and project-based learning as well as most of the Microsoft Office applications. And if that isn’t enough Robin is going back to school this fall to get her district level administrator license!
