That's easy - it depends! Get a mini-DV camcorder in a brand that you recognize. Great sales this time of year. You'll pay a little more if you'd like a mic input, but it may be worth it if you're going to get serious about producing good videos. AVOID hard drive and DVD format camcorders. What kind of computer do you use? On a Mac, iMovie will let you share/export to FLV (Flash format) for YouTube and TeacherTube.
