We were able to purchase 7 boards this year and both teachers and students have a blast with the board. One teacher uses it for her DOL. 1 student leads the activity. They call on students to point out the errors and then make the editor mark right on the board.
Another uses interactive math games from Harcourt and has students go up to the board to play the game (they take turns) and sometimes has teams play against each other.
