I am not sure what subject you teach, however, you can have "virtual field trips" using the board. Students can explore museums (i.e. Louvre) and explore geography via Google Earth. My students also love the iQuiz application. I develop a quiz based on the vocabulary and concepts and classes compete against each other for the highest score. The application is free at
