LCD Projector - Wireless Adaptor

I recently received a Toshiba WX2200U through a grant. My problem is connecting it to my classroom computer. Because of the port location there are cords strung all over the room when I use the projector and the picture ends up being about a foot across. I know there are wireless projectors, but are there also adaptors to make my current projector wireless? Any help is certainly appreciated!Marie

You can buy 25 ft. vga extender cables that would allow the projector to be further away from your computer. However, depending on the projector, you could lose signal quality. The thicker the cable, the better. You would be better to have your projector wired than wireless for quality reasons.

You can get connector cables 25, 50, and even 100 ft long.  We use the 50 ft length and run them above the ceilling tiles and down the wall.

But there are wireless adapters out there.  I think they're in the $200.-$250. range.

Good Luck!

I have a wireless Epson projector. It's a great projector but I eneded up using the wire because it kept kicking me off in the middle of lessons. Unless you have a really good network you may have this problem.
