literacy in the classroom

I would like to suggest we add more literacy content to our lesson plans. I was thinking of incorporating some segments from longer videos on united streaming about careers in science and historical scientist. This would lead to individual investigations relating to interests in a field of science. This research would require research and reading on these inquiries.
