Windows Movie Maker can not locate the videos. Once they are uploaded in the the program, you have to save the project and the videos in the same place; either on a computer, CD or in a flashdrive or universal folder on a server. This will eliminate the X's. I use a portable harddrive. A flash drive works fine.
Since you are working with students, see if there is a universal drive on the server you can allow the students to use or have them save the projects and videos on a rewritable CD.
Hi!
I have two classes that are creating videos in movie maker. When they come to the computer lab to continue working on their videos, some of the pictures and videos from the collection have a large red "X" over them and we can longer use the them, even if the students have already inserted them into the storyboard. Can anyone help me figure out why this is happening? Thanks!
