Video Clips

I have had numerous problems inserting the video clips into my powerpoints and when I could ask for help all you said was we do not know why it doesn't work. This is very discouraging because even if the clips are great, if you can't embed them in the powerpoint as you tell me to in your instructions, I can't use them. And now you have made the website so I can't even contact you easily. I no longer see the customer service or technology area to ask. I have requested help three times and so far. The same things keep happening, some of them work and some do not. So please someone from technology please tell me how to get all the clips to work or do you not ensure they all work before putting on the site. Thanks, Cathy Dowling

Cathy - when posting a slideshow one must package it correctly so that the video clips are included in the upload.  I feel your frustration!    I would suggest that you use the following steps to assure that you have packaged the slideshow so that the video clips will be included. (File-->Package for CD-->upload to file) I bet if you let Steve Denbo know (e-mail him directly) that there is a problem with a particular item he could assist you.

I have had similar problems in the past.  I sometimes need to change my file extension on video clips from .asf to .asx

It works for me.  I don't know why it works but it does.  Try that and see if it makes a difference.
