Streaming with AD/GPO computer lockuot policy

We employ Acitive Directory with Group Policy management.

The GPO applies to all teachers' machines (all contained in a sub-OU).

The policy states that all machines lock at 3 minutes of inactivity.

How can I modify the policy to circumvent the 3 minute rule so that when a video is streaming, the lockout does not apply?

Otherwise, the teacher needs to constantly move the mouse (or at least once every 2:59 sec).

Any ideas?

We use Novell to manage

We use Novell to manage Group Policies in my district.  We control lockout time in mandatory profiles that we push down.  I'm not that familiar with AD, so I don't know if it works the same way.

I believe that if the video

I believe that if the video goes full screen the Windows shouldn't lock after your set time.  But if you are looking for the rule its located under computer configuration --> administrative templates --> control panel --> display.   Three minutes is way too short unless you have a known history of students or teachers gaining unauthorized access to workstations.  15 minutes is the norm I would have for a teacher... Administration somewhere around 10...

Good luck
