  Hi, my name is Jana Johnson.  I am the Computer Lab Assistant for Menifee Elementary K-8 and I work with the 6th-8th grade classes on technology.  I have noticed while looking through everything on Encyclomedia, there is not a lot of information on the application technology programs that the students are learning.  One application program that I tell the students about is OneNote.  This is a wonderful program that allows the students to take notes and put them in categories that they can find easily.  The textbook talks about OneNote, but due to the fact that we do not have this program at school, the students do not get any one on one time with the program.  I also noticed that Encyclomedia does not have a lot of information on Career Exploration.  That is something else that is covered in the computer lab for these grade levels.  I found one film on teaching.  They need to included more videos showing other careers for the students to look at during their Career Orientation Section.

    I think as we share information in our content sections that the Encyclomedia program will expand and become even better.  I noticed that the Core Content classes have many things to choose from and that is very important.  We just need more information to cover the other classes such as art, music, technology, etc.
