Hi,

I'm Jim Beeghley and I'm from Central Pennsylvania. Officially I work for the Pa Department of Education (Ed Tech) and I am also an adjunct professor for some Pennsylvania universities.

My passion is teaching others how to integrate technology into the teaching of the Civil War (www.teachthecivilwar.com). This stemmed from my doctoral research that I completed in the fall of 2008. My daughter is also a Civil War buff and has an award winning project called Civil War Sallie (www.civilwarsallie.com) that is using Web 2.0 tools to teach others about the Civil War.

I'm looking forward to being part of the DEN Star Community.

Welcome, my best friend

Welcome, my best friend lives in Dauphin County. It's become my home away from home. Hope you enjoy your time with the DEN. I have found it to be such a rewarding experience.
