Kentucky--Lyon County Middle, writing & grammar teacher

Hi all,

I'm Cindy Kennedy, writing & grammar teacher for 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade students at Lyon County Middle School in Eddyville, KY (in the western part of Kentucky--at the upper end of Lake Barkley). Last year, I taught 6th-grade geography and 8th-grade arts & humanities. I used DE streaming extensively for the 8th-grade course. I didn't use it for the 6th-grade course because the text series Geography! Alive! had so many activities and resources that there was no time to add any additional material. I am getting comfortable with assignment builder and quiz builder, and anticipate using them with the writing & grammar classes this year.
