Once you've already saved

Once you've already saved the video or clip to your computer, click on the Insert menu in PPT . Go to Movies and Sounds-> Movie from File and then find the file.

After you've inserted the file, you should get a pop-up where you can edit the settings for the video.

I hope that helps!

How about if you only want

How about if you only want to insert a part of the video?  How do you edit the video down to just maybe a10 second section?

You can edit those clips

You can edit those clips using iMovie (Mac) or Movie Maker (PC).

Just make sure you save the

Just make sure you save the video and PP in the same folder, otherwise the computer won't be able to "find" the file.

So Does that mean when the

So Does that mean when the power point reaches a certain slide, if the video is embedded, it will show the video; then continue the slide presentation? Now that is pretty cool.

When you do the imbedding

When you do the imbedding process, you will get a pop up that asks if you want it play automatically on when you click the mouse... your choice.

Even if you have the video in the same folder, if you move the PowerPoint to another computer, you will sometimes have problems with the computer finding the file... if you save it when you have completed all your editing by going to file and then Package for CD... you can save all the sounds, movies, etc. together into one file... you will have the choice to actually put it on CD or save as a file... If you go to the options button, you will also have the choice of including the PowerPoint viewer and whether to play the presentation should show automatically.

If you don't save the video

If you don't save the video and the pp in the same folder you will have to reload them into the pp ..I know...I didn't save them to the same folder.  LOTS of extra work for myself.
