Welcome to the DEN. It is an amazing place to meet and collaborate with educators from all over!! I teach 4th grade in an area that used to be rural (50 + years ago) and is now an affluent suburb of Philadelphia/New York. What type of technology do you have available in your class?

I currently have a "floating" white board that I can use in my classroom. BUT... next year, I am getting a projector and a SMART board for my room. I am SO excited!!
Where are you located? I was born and raised in Chester County... I am a Chester County hospital baby! LOL!

I, too, am from PA, near Erie. I am an Academic Coach, Middle Level specific, but utilized from K-12 range. This position allows me to share instructional strategies with my colleagues. I am excited about the Discovery Ed United Streaming and have used it to supplement when reading to K & 1st grade students.

You are up here in my "neck of the woods". I am about 1.5 hours east of Bradford.
It sounds like your position is wonderful. What a great way to get to know different instructional strategies and be the link between teachers to give them some great ideas. United Streaming is the best!

Hello all,
I am a 7th and 8th grade developmental Reading teacher and a 9-12 Young Adult Literature teacher in a VERY rural section of the northern tier of Pennsylvania. I am looking forward to all of the great ideas that are generated here and the use of all of the DEN tools. Have a great day.
