A neat project to create with students is a Google Earth image overlay with a unitedstreaming image embedded with a unitedstreaming video segment. Once created the image overlay will allow students to fly to a location in Google Earth, view a related image, read a text explanation, and then watch a video segment related to the location and/or image. This handout includes screenshots and step-by-step instructions for creating an image overlay as well as saving the .kmz file to share with other teachers.
