reading
Students read The Story of Ferdinand by Munro Leaf (or some other book that chronicles the experiences of the main character). After discussion about what makes Ferdinand special and how he remained true to himself students create "The Story of..." (themselves) using a digital picture of themselves and adding clipart and text that tell about their likes.
