Alphabet is a collection of ten powerpoints for use in K-2 grade classrooms. There are 4-6 letters per powerpoint with hyperlinks on the opening page to go to any letter with very little trouble. Each letter has 4 to 7 or more video clips. Emphasis is on the short sound of vowels. The letters are in one order for kindergarten and another order for first grade when using the Scott Foresman reading series. A few alphabet songs are also included. There are 3 zip files to download all files. Be sure to place in one folder. The clips are all .asf files. A powerpoint viewer file allows you to shortcut to your desktop and open all powerpoints into a menu that makes access to playing easy. letters, alphabet, sounds, consonants, short vowel sounds, animals

I used this Notebook file to practice identifying two major parts of sentences the telling and the doing part. I used the file to go along with the story Where Do Frogs Come From in our Harcourt Trophies Reading Series in first grade. The children read the sentence and drag the part of the sentence to the appropriate area. grammar, sentence parts, reading, Harcourt Trophies reading
