To use the PowerPoint document, you will print it in the handout format, 4 per page. You will glue the page with the two words (not the contraction) on top of the page with the contractions. DO NOT put glue on top of the actual slides. Then, cut around the bottom and sides of the top sheet to where you can lift up the top slide (two words) to to see the contracted word. contractions, powerpoint

The grade for this lesson is Kindergarten. This lesson incorporated the use of KidPix. I assigned each student a letter and had them choose three words that start with that letter. For example: Letter B A child drew the letter B using the paintbrush tool.
