I enjoy giving my math class a Problem of the Week to test out their problem solving skills. Often these word problems will test their ability to apply what we have learned in class. Here is a classic problem, enhaced with a unitedstreaming image, that I enjoyed seeing in the movie Die Hard: With a Vengeance. Robert has a 3 gallon container and a 5 gallon container. How can he use these buckets to get exactly 4 gallons of water into one of the buckets?
