My grade level visits Old Strubridge Village aech year as part of our Social Studies curriculum. I created this web quest to help my students understand and learn about life during that period and understand New England villages during that time. This was posted on our class web site.

This lesson was created for a 3rd grade classroom. It is an inquiry-based constructivist plan where the students research and contribute to creating a classroom zoo. The students work together and problem-solve to develop the layout, animals and zoo features. constructivist problem inquiry animals

Here are some excellent ideas that you can use for after school activities with all grade level students. You can integrate all subject areas. You can do one or all of the projects; students will have fun and learn as they research, invent, draw, and use the computer. This is a must resource if you want your students to learn about construction, designing, creating, and the real world. on Monday, Oct 16 2006 at 04:26 PM on Thursday, Oct 19 2006 at 12:12 PM on Thursday, Oct 19 2006 at 12:12 PM ideas, integration, technology, designing, creating
