I created this lesson for second grade. This is a three week lesson on map skills. Week one: Students watch a short clip from unitedstreaming on Direction. Students learn about the four main directions. NESW ( Never Eat Shredded Wheat) or ( Never Eat Soggy Waffles). Students and I log onto www.maps101.com and look at various maps (K-3 maps are very easy to read). Week Three: Students and I explore Google Earth. Geography
