Although most schools have progress reports that are required to be sent home, I have created another parent report to be sent home in between the progress reports. This form is to notify parents of their child's current grade and progress in third grade. I have found that it is very much appreciated by parents. progress report, grades, third grade

This is a wonderful presentation for a parent night. It helps parents understand some of the differences between when they were in school and their students today. It helps them understand how they can better relate to their child and how to help them with school. It also explains the grading system and other pertinent policies. It would serve as a great starting point for other teachers looking to create a welcome presentation for parent night. Parent Night
